How many days early for placing on-line cake orders?
The cake orders must be placed at least one day (24 hours) in advance when shopping on-line. If you require a cake sooner, you can try to contact us to see if we can satisfy your needs. By booking early, you will have the better chance in ordering the cake you desire.
How many days early for placing any custom design and photo cakes?
For the custom design and photo cakes orders, one to two days (24-48 hours) advance notice upon receiving the images at designated branches.
What information and materials I should provide to Saint Germain Bakery for placing Edible Image Cake?
To order an edible scanned image on cake
- Order a cake: Select size, shape and flavour.
- Customer Supplied images: Choice of photographs, certificates, letters, drawing, graphics or their combinations, in original forms, or by firstname.lastname@example.org (use jpg format, resolution do not exceed 75 dpi). All items will be returned to customer upon pick up. Saint Germain Bakery shall not be responsible for loss or damage to the original supplied image(s) and materials.
- Output size of scanned images:
7” x 5” (half page)
7” x 10” (full page).
Due to reproduction constraints, scanned images may be cropped on the cake(s).
- Price for scanned images only (when ordered with a cake):
$6.00 – 7” x 5” (half page)
$12.00 – 7” x 10” (full page) Price for scanned images only (when ordered without a cake):
$12.00 – 7” x 5” (half page)
$24.00 – 7” x 10” (full page)
FULL PAYMENT when ordering.
- Pick up time: 1 – 2 days (24-48 hours) upon received of images at designated branches. (Express service with extra $6.00 charge).
- Copyright of the images is solely responsible by the customers. Saint Germain Bakery reserved the right NOT to scan any images provided by customer.
How many days early for placing on-line orders of Cookies, Pastry, Chinese Pastry, Macaroons and Gift Certificate?
For on-line orders of Cookies, Pastry, Chinese Pastry, Macaroons and Gift Certificate, we ship your orders within the “Delivery Area” in Greater Vancouver. Two days (48 hours) delivery will be used in order to ensure the freshness of the products.
Do you deliver international orders?
Our ordering and delivering service would not be available to other major cities in Canada or outside of Canada. We only accept local orders within the “Delivery Area” in Greater Vancouver.
What if I want to cancel or change my order?
Once you make your payment through PayPal, your order paid information will be sent to our Saint Germain Bakery local store. Consequently, we are unable to cancel or modify your order immediately. If you need to make any changes to your order, please do not hesitate to contact us at (604) 276-8378 or email us at email@example.com.
What if the recipient is not available to receive the order?
Please contact us as soon as possible for changing the receiving time or date if the recipient is not available on the time or date you have picked for the order. It would be best prior to making an order to confirm that someone will be available to receive it. In addition, please make sure the address is correct and a local contact number where the recipient can be contacted by the drivers.
What payment methods do you accept?
We are using PayPal only to go through all the payments. You can select to pay directly from your PayPal account or pay with your credit card. PayPal keeps track all your transactions.

I don’t have a credit card or PayPal account. Does Saint Germain Bakery give me the option to pay by check or money order?
We do not accept payments by money order or cheque for on-line orders. You could register a PayPal account using by your bank account.
How long will it take for the refunded funds to appear in my account?
As we are using PayPal to go through all the payments, please sign into your PayPal account and review your account history. Please note that it is depending upon your PayPal account preferences.
How do you do the price calculations?
The total price of the entire order is based on the subtotal price on all the items in your cart, plus the shipping fee apply to the location to which the order is being shipped.
How can I track my order to see if the order was processed?
If you have a membership with us, please login to your Saint Germain Bakery account to view your order status.

What if I have sent an e-mail to Saint Germain Bakery but haven’t received a response?

Placing a cake order over the phone
Can I place a cake order over the phone?
We welcome anyone who would like to place a cake order over the phone. It is recommended to place your order one day (24 hours) in advance. Any last minute may be possible, we recommend you to contact the Saint Germain Bakery local store directly. For the orders that are placed over the phone, you will be required to provide us with your credit card number (Visa / MasterCard) in order for us to process the order.
